- I was approached by BORN Group to lead a design consultation endeavor showcasing the possibilities of white-label style platforms. Ascend Learning has a roster of over 15 brands focused on certification training, and I was tasked with showcasing design solutions for four of them.
- The four brands extended over a wide variety of industries including fitness, nursing, and workplace safety. We worked with their existing branding guidelines and direction while expanding in areas that made sense for them, and injecting a sense of modern design through the UX & UI itself.
- What came out of this project was a suite of global components in the style of a website-builder, that each brand can customize and utilize to meet their own needs. Each component was designed specifically to meet the needs of certification training programs, and while we needed a global solution that would work for everyone, we also individually met with every client to ensure their concerns are met.
- On one hand, the main goal of this project was showcasing technology that would assist Ascend Learning in having user-interface consistency across their brand roster, we also had a secondary goal of bringing great designs to the individual brands themselves, which manifested as four separate web-branding style guide documents. We had to be nimble and smart with our time while taking into consideration each of our clients’ wishes. Overall, the effort was worth it with the work being especially satisfying.
